Key Clients

Alison is here to help any child or adolescent facing communication difficulties, including children with disabilities such as cerebral palsy or down syndrome, by providing speech therapy sessions tailored to them.

Is your child having trouble communicating? Alison Marsh is a speech therapist who is highly experienced at helping children with communication and speech problems to overcome their difficulties in a fun and friendly environment. Alison’s speech therapy sessions are based around play so your child will not realise they are “working”, and are family-centred to help your child improve their communication skills with the help of guided family support.

Alison charges per speech therapy session, rather than on a time basis, so you won’t incur any extra fees if your little one needs more time. Alison can also offer a range of different service options including weekly intervention, home/school programmes, and Skype sessions, depending on your child’s needs.

A number of funding options are available to assist with the costs of therapy. Alison is a registered provider for the Better Start for Children with Disability initiative which provides funding for children with diagnosed disabilities including Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, Angelman syndrome and hearing impairment. Medicare subsidies are available for clients deemed eligible by their doctor for a management and team plan. For families with a concession card, Alison offers bulk billing for therapy sessions under a Medicare subsidised Team Care plan. HICAPS is available for families who can claim speech pathology services on their private health cover.
